Double you Image Plates-NOW- FREE!!!

I'm so excited to show you fellow Konaddicts what I mean!  I discovered this a little while back, (about a month ago... on my girlfriend)  and showed the lovely Esther @ Konad USA.  We laughed at  how funny it was that no one came up with this idea sooner!
Its pretty basic...ready for it?

DOUBLE YOUR IMAGES BY MAKING A REVERSE OF THE IMAGE!
You will need: 1 image plate, one special polish, 2 stampers, and one scraper.

So basically you need to work quickly with fresh Konad Special Polish, if it is too thick, it may dry to fast before you can transfer it in the 3 steps it takes. start with the usual paint and scrape technique, then.....
1)pick up the image with your one of your stampers
2) instead of transfering it to your nail, transfer it to ANOTHER STAMPER,
3) then roll the image onto your nail.
You now have a reverse image of the original!
This works great on images that are one sided, if you want to create a mirror on your opposite hand.
INSTANT
FREE
You are sooooo welcome!
If you don't already have a second stamper,  You can stop by my shop and order one.  And if you do....better get stamping ! And please, post it to your blog, or email me pics!!!  Feel free to link back to this post for step by step tutorial.
here are some examples of images that would work well (note: the left images are the reverse and then i just did a regular pick up on the right side so you can see how great the reverse looks- I didn't have time to do a bunch of mani's)

I thought this may work a while ago but never got round to trying it. Great to see it does indeed work, it is so annoying to need a reverse design and not have one :o)

s baby D...totally agreed.
Evil Angel.....too damn hallarious- I was actually going to write genius somewhere in ther, but since I can't find the spell ceck anymore, thought it would be ironic if i spelt it wrong! (too late at night-but i promised you i'd get it in)

Thanks every one for the comments- funny how easy it can be. just gotta get the timing.
oh, and one of my stampers "accepts" the reverse better than the other one? So if you have trouble, try switching the the stampers, lead w/te other.
let me know guys.

Almost too good to be true! Wow!

Would you try to do mirror image and original to the same nail with some design? Like putting B's to form a butterfly? Would be cool to see!

This really makes possibilities endless with alphabets and all! But yet again requires a pair of fast, steady hands.

Do you have to use Konad Special Polish to do this? Can you use regular polish?

That's awesome I tried it yesterday but I just took apart my stamper...used the small side then transfered it to the big side and stamped! for little things it would work for me till I get another stamper! Thanks!!! ~Patricia

I thought of this last year and posted the suggestion on Getcha Nails did blog. But when I got an additional stamper I found this didn't work. Now I'm thinking it's cause I need the real Konad polish. I normally just stamp with whatever I have. Maybe I'll finally cave and buy some of the special polish...it really bothers me that the images are not mirrored. :)

WOW!!!! Thanks for the info. that is totally awesome. Welcome Back!

Sid, Melissa, & Crystal....
Great question, i have only tried with Konad. Here are some tips.

1) Use fresh polish, it it is older and thicker, it dries too fast (similar to how it is when useing older polish on a finely detailed image....doesn't work)
2) If the image is not transferring from stamper A to stamper B...try changinf the order, meaning pick up image with stamper B and transfer to stamper A. Why does this work? you got me....but I had a problem with one of the stamperes accepting the transfer...I cleaned it with acetone-no go. But when I switched the stampers, for some reason the other stamper worked better at the transfer?
3) WORK FAST!!!
4) always make sure everything has been cleaned with pure acetone.

Rocky, thanks & welcome!

Glad to be back Andrea.

Patricia....you are SUPER GENIUS!!! YES, if you have a double sided stamper....just pop off one stamper button and use it to transfer.... great call girl!

uh Micheele....WHY didn't you tell us all sooner? & why didn't I think of it sooner? (guess im not as smart as i thought i was!
